El Paso Country Club’s Barracudas Swim Team offers social and athletic opportunities for Club children ages 6 to 18 years of age to compete against other Private League swim teams. Our swim team emphasizes good sportsmanship, teamwork, and a healthy competitive environment.

The children are taught the four competitive swimming strokes along with proper racing starts and turns. Barracuda practice begins in May (afternoon practices after school) and switches to morning practices after school is out. Swim meets are held every Tuesday and Thursday in June and July. The season ends with a Championship Meet with all the Private League teams competing for the championship trophy.
